The Platu 25 World Championship is going to start on the Austrian “Lacus Felix”.Fourty five (45) boats will be on the start line tomorrow. At 11 o’ clock the crews, coming from all over Europe, will gather in front of the Ancient Castle of Gmunden. All of them will be face the most competitive Platu 25 crews, especially the Austrian La Burra, the Italians Euz II and Nanuk, the German Falkone, Kyra, Farrbar, and the Spanish Bribon-Movistar.
Today there should be a practice race, but the total lack of wind in the Traunsee Lake didn’t allow the crews to test the field of regatta.
For tomorrow, first day of competition, wind from West is expected, with an intensity that could be more than 7-8 knots.
